We guarantee the puppy to be in good health and free from visible signs of infection and contagious or communicable disease by our veterinarian when purchased. It is imperative that your new puppy visit your veterinarian within two (2) business days of your purchase to confirm the same. We encourage you to contact your veterinarian to set up this appointment prior to puppy pick up day.
There’s almost nothing more heartbreaking than when a family has fallen in love with a puppy who can’t assimilate into their life. By the time our puppies are 8+ weeks old, we know exactly what kind of home each one needs, and what kind of people will be the best fit for their personalities. When you express interest in one of our pups, we will spend around an hour on the phone with you learning about you and what you’re looking for in your little friend, so we can match you with a dog who will fit into your life as seamlessly as possible. Finding the right home for each dog is essential for the happiness of everyone involved.

Yes! We highly recommend Inukshuk for the lifetime of your best friend. When adopting a puppy (up to two years of age) from us, we recommend the Inukshuk 26/16 formula. Retrievers adopted after two years of age we recommend either keeping them on the 26/16 formula or switching to the 30/25 formula if they are active. Both of these can be ordered online from Chewy.com

We strongly encourage you not to feed a grain free diet or one that consists primarily of boutique protein sources (ie kangaroo, alligator, etc). There have been possible links to these types of diets causing heart issues in our dogs. For the latest information on this topic, take a look at this article written by the FDA.
There are so many different options to choose from these days! Some of the following products we find that our puppies love. We do not have any association with these brands or suppliers, so feel free to source them locally or online.
Disclaimer: Very few toys are safe to leave with your puppy unattended so use these at your own risk.
When you first bring your new friend home, we strongly encourage you to use a well- fitting harness. Since your puppy is still getting acclimated to walking on a leash, we want to avoid pressure on their windpipe as the cartilage rings aren’t fully developed.
We like flat collars for attaching an identification tag so if your puppy happened to get away, someone knows how to return them home. Once your puppy is a little more comfortable walking on a leash and is a little more physically developed, attaching the leash to a flat collar should be fine.
Yes! We include an excellent online puppy training program with the purchase of your puppy. The course was created by one of the top trainers in the country, Chris Williams of Work Your Pack in Montana.
We strongly encourage you to continue with crate training your puppy. We’ve started the process of introducing them to it in a positive manner. A crate offers your puppy a safe, quiet place to rest and take a break from the activity of the home.
We have an excellent trainer friend that offers this free course on crate training which answers a lot of common questions, goes over the different types of crates, and teaches you how to introduce the crate to your new friend. Check out this link to his course! While you’re on his site, check out his other courses like Puppy Training.
